is the 22 year old daughter of Jerry Furniss and Kelly Maier of Missoula. She is a graduate of Frenchtown High School and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Horsemanship at the University of Montana Western. She also is a licensed guide with the Montana Board of Outfitters. Lesli is involved with the U of M Western’s Horseman’s Club, the Dillon Jaycees, and Toastmaster’s. She served as Miss Southeastern Montana 2006 and Miss Rodeo Western Montana 2007-08. In 2007 she finished among the Top-10 in the Miss Montana Scholarship Pageant. Lesli enjoys packing into the backcountry, fly fishing, bow hunting, pheasant hunting with her dog Gus, riding and training horses, helping at brandings and gathering cattle out of the mountains, running, lifting weights, painting, reading, and watching rodeo. Her future plans include pursuing a Masters of Counseling and Psychology with an emphasis on Equine Assisted Mental Health, becoming a motivational speaker, and raising a family near the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
is the 23 year old daughter of Don and Sheri Anderson of Kalispell. She is a graduate of Flathead High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business and Economics from Montana State University. In 2008 she served as the Northwest Montana Pro Rodeo Queen, and has also been involved with 4-H, FFA, and Young Republicans. She has volunteered with the Network and Abby Battered Women and Children Shelter, Hurricane Katrina Backpack Relief for Children, and the Flathead Special Olympics. Elise also served as a U.S. Senate Agricultural Economics Intern and MSU Delegate of International Economics and Marketing for Montana Beef. She enjoys horses, rodeo, traveling, golf, fishing, skiing, hiking and camping, and shooting competitive air rifle and trap. Her future plans include obtaining a law degree from the University of Montana and becoming the first female United States Senator from the State of Montana.
is the 22 year old daughter of Boyd and Shelley Frame of St. Ignatius. She graduated from Charlo High School is 2004 and is currently attending the University of Montana Western. She served as Miss Rodeo Western Montana in 2006-07 and this year as Miss Southeastern Montana Rodeo Queen. A former High School Homecoming Queen and varsity cheerleading captain, Shantell was also an 11-year 4-H member. She enjoys reading, writing, horseback riding, fly fishing, quilting, needlepoint, raising beef cattle and spending time with family. Shantell’s future plans include obtaining a law degree from the University of Montana law school and to one day operate her own law firm.
