Speech, Horsemanship, Personality Appearance, Projection & Presentation
Haelee is the 18 year old daughter of Craig and Diane Essebaggers of Sun River Montana. This blonde haired blue eyed beauty is a senior at CM Russell High School in Great Falls where she has been an honor student throughout high school as well as being Academic Olympian in volleyball and track. Her work in FFA and 4-H has been exceptional as she has received her FFA Degrees as well as an FFA Scholarship. In 4-H she has excelled in the Horsemanship project and has won the Mt 4-H Congress Horse Judging competition. When she is not horseback she seems to always be getting on something wild, like snowmobiles, dirt bikes and even tried her luck at Bull Riding. Her High School Rodeo experience has included barrel racing and goat tying.
This busy girl plans to attend Montana State University in Bozeman and pursue a degree in Equine Science, followed by veterinary school and horse chiropractics. Her dream is to open her own Veterinary Clinic.
Haelee was first crowned Miss Big Sky Pro Rodeo Princess in 2014 and this past year she has served as Miss Southeastern Montana Rodeo Teen Queen.
She aspires to be Miss Teen Rodeo Montana because she wants to be an inspiring role model to younger generations through rodeo queening. She was inspired by previous rodeo queens and she wants to be that person she once looked up to when she was little. Haelee believes that the authentic cowboy’s ways are slowly disappearing and she would love to travel the state and spread the world of rodeo to those she meets at rodeos and school visits. She wants to be able to promote honest values, perseverance and western Culture. She wants to honor the past and present cowboys and cowgirls that have help shape America through ranching and agriculture. "Becoming Miss Teen Rodeo Montana 2017 is a great opportunity for me to reach out to others and be an ambassador for the great sport of rodeo and our western heritage," said Haelee.
