Jourdan (Han) Wichman

At the Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finals, held in Great Falls in January, Jourdon Han was crowned Miss Rodeo Montana 2010, a dream come true for the 21 year old daughter of Don and Jaye Dee Han of Rudyard. She is the older of two girls. Her sister Bridjour is 17 and a junior at North Star High School, where she participates in all sports, including high school rodeo.

Jourdon also attended North Star and graduated in 2007. She was senior class President, Varsity volleyball captain, and rodeo club Vice President. During her 4 years of high school she was the student chairman for Red Cross Blood drawings, which has led her to become a frequent blood donor. Additionally, she was Miss Northern Montana Rodeo Princess 2002, and Miss Big Sky Pro Rodeo 2008.

In 2007, Jourdon participated in the Montana Meth “Paint the State” contest. She and 5 of her friends worked together in developing a display which took the first place cash prize for Hill County.

Jourdon has put her nursing degree at Montana State University on hold while she travels to represent Montana and the western lifestyle, not only in Big Sky country, but also to our entire nation and Canada. Upon graduation she will be a fourth generation registered nurse. Her ultimate goal is to become a midwife. Currently, Jourdon holds a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate and has enjoyed working at the Liberty County Medical Center Nursing Home as well as the Billings Clinic during summer break.

In addition to rodeo, Jourdon enjoys basketball, volleyball, snowboarding, bowling, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family, including her 1 year old basset hound, Josette.

Jourdon is extremely excited to spend this fabulous opportunity meeting new friends and extending fellowship in rodeo knowledge with her comrade Libby Gurnett, the new Miss Teen Rodeo Montana 2010. Together they will share the experiences of a lifetime.
